Palantir is one of the world’s most dangerous A.I. surveillance companies. Co-founded by billionaire far-right extremists Peter Thiel and Alex Karp, Palantir weaponizes digital software development to build A.I.-powered tools, like Gotham or Project Maven, for large-scale data collection and mass surveillance that threaten human rights globally.

From enabling mass deportation and detention, the U.S.’ illegal wars, Israel’s genocide in Gaza, to embedding its software in the U.K.’s National Health Service, Palantir represents the existential threat facing working people everywhere. Palantir’s A.I.-powered surveillance and data analysis fuels ICE murders, using Medicaid data to target and stalk people for arrest, while actual Medicaid funding is slashed.

Meanwhile, nurses see hospital CEOs eager to contract with Palantir, handing over patient data and automating staffing with Palantir’s unaccountable tech profiteers—essentially bankrolling agencies like ICE that are terrorizing our communities. Nurses envision a healthy society based on care and compassion. Palantir has no place in our government institutions, our public goods, and certainly no place in our hospitals.

It is past time to abolish ICE and fund health care, not warfare.
