We're seeking volunteers to join our canvass days for the ICE out of Dublin and Prop 50 campaign
Join Oakland Rising Action for our volunteer public outreach days in October, to get the word out to our communities to keep the formerly closed federal women's detention center from re-opening as an ICE detention center in Dublin and for Yes on Prop 50. By volunteering with us, you'll be part of a movement that's fighting against the GOP's authoritarian agenda and protecting our communities from the harm caused by ICE's detention centers and gerrymandering.
We'll be canvassing neighborhoods, engaging with voters, and demanding that local, state, and federal officials take action to keep our communities safe. By supporting Proposition 50, you'll be helping to ensure fair representation for working-class families, tenants, immigrants, and BIPOC communities. As a volunteer, you'll receive training and support to effectively communicate our message and be part of a team that's making a real difference in our community.
