As workers in the East Bay approach May Day 2026 (and aim to build toward national mass action by May Day 2028), now is a great time to learn about the history of May Day and deliberate together about what we want to make of it in the midst of current struggles.
Renowned labor historian Fred Glass will present his 30-minute film, "We Mean to Make Things Over," followed by a discussion by panelists and participants about what it will take to be much more powerful by May Day 2028, and how we can use May Day 2026 as a building block on the way. This is a free event. Light supper will be served. RSVP for food count bit.ly/maydayfilm
