Moral Monday Actions!!
The Sacramento Poor People’s Campaign (Sac PPC) will host three Moral Monday events that focus on the impacts of the administration’s proposed budget cuts on poor and low-income communities. First focusing on the impact on the social safety net and Medicaid/Medicare (June 9).
These events will also address the Campaign’s interrelated pillars of racism, poverty, militarism, environmental destruction, and the escalating distorted moral narrative facing our country. The Campaign is a national initiative led by faith leaders, progressives, advocates, and community members engaged in the struggle for social and economic justice.
