Rally at Oakland City Council: No to Flock

Oakland City Council’s Public Safety Committee will be voting on OPD’s proposed use policy and contract for integrating its public camera network with Flock Safety’s ALPR camera system and database. The Oakland Privacy Advisory Commission (OPAC) has already recommended that Oakland City Council reject this proposal and we are calling on community to come out strongly in opposition.

We will be holding a rally tomorrow Tuesday October 28th at 5pm outside of city council before the 6pm public safety committee meeting, we hope to see you there! Additional information can be found in this toolkit: https://bit.ly/noflock-oakland, please share widely!
