Stand with Guillermo

We need everybody to get down to San Jose tomorrow at 7AM to stand with our community member Guillermo. Guillermo is a beloved tattoo artist, dedicated organizer, and longtime community member who has lived in the U.S. since he was six years old. He has been a relentless advocate against immigration detention—organizing from both inside and outside its walls.

While unjustly detained, Guillermo co-led labor and hunger strikes, supported fellow detainees with their cases, and exposed the abuse, neglect, and rights violations carried out by ICE and GEO.

Since his release, Guillermo has continued to lead with courage, sharing his story with the media, lawmakers, and community spaces while pursuing his education and working as a carpenter. He recently graduated from De Anza College, a testament to his deep commitment to growth, healing, and transformation.

Now, ICE is trying to detain him again. This is not just unjust, it is retaliatory. Guillermo is being targeted for speaking truth and demanding dignity, and we must not stay silent.

Standing with Guillermo is standing against the cruelty of the detention system. It’s standing for freedom, dignity, and community.

Bring your signs, your friends, your voice. Let’s surround Guillermo with the same power and love he’s given to his and our communities.

Location: 393 Blossom Hill Rd, San Jose, CA 95123
