Join the Bay Area Tech Table (BATT) and Stop Cop City Bay Area partners for a community town hall and teach-in on the expansion of surveillance and militarized policing in the Bay Area. We will learn more about respective city fights against harmful surveillance technologies such as FLOCK and Shotspotter, their connection to the regional police training facilities from San Pablo to Mountain View, and how we can organize to fight back.

This townhall will include:

• Grounding Overview on surveillance tech, Cop City expansions, and ongoing threats in the current political moment

• Participatory Panel Discussion on recent wins, lessons learned, and upcoming opportunities in the ongoing struggle

• Regional Breakout Groups to build intersectional solidarity and identify opportunities for collaboration
