ICE out of Dublin

The Federal government is trying to re-open a formerly closed down federal women’s prison to be used as an ICE detention center in the Bay, creating more capacity to increase deportations of our Bay area immigrant communities. Organizers shut down this prison within the last 10 years, exposing horrific violence the incarcerated women and people in that prison endured, and the same coalition of groups are organizing around keeping it closed.

This is a critical fight with local and national impact. We need folks to turn out for canvassing and phone banking shifts to communities in Dublin, to spread the word about this campaign and target key local decision makers.
