Oakland Public Safety Committee Meeting

🚨 Oakland — ICE still has access to OPD’s surveillance system.

Now OPD wants to expand FLOCK Safety, linking public and private cameras, doorbells, and drones into a massive, searchable network — putting our entire community under watch.

👉🏾 This deal would cost $2.25 MILLION — and make it even easier for ICE and OPD to target, track, and criminalize Black, Brown, and unhoused residents.

The Privacy Advisory Commission already voted NO, but City Council is trying to fast-track this deal anyway.
