ICE & Migrants Defense: Resources & Ways to Take Action
By now, you may have heard of the reports ICE has launched "Operation Safe California," a 45-day crackdown starting in SoCal and moving north to SF. So far, the operation hasn't been verified. However, the news is starting to circulate on social media and Governor Newsom has called it a campaign of fear. There are reports of increased ICE operations in multiple parts of California, specifically key swing districts. In advance of the midterm elections, DHS said last week that they will be focusing attention on sanctuary cities.
We are monitoring the situation with local rapid response networks. What is clear is that this is the moment to spread power, not panic. Below are resources, community organizations to support, and ways you can get involved to support at-risk families.

At Bay Resistance, we’re preparing for what’s already happening and what could happen next. MAGA billionaires and their tech allies are threatening the elections and it’s clear ICE is attempting to stoke fear in crucial electoral regions. With less than three weeks left until the midterms, we need to be ready in case any red lines are crossed. This means printing more Know Your Rights Cards and Bay Get Ready materials, hosting larger mass calls, providing food for protestors, and more. Please donate whatever you’re able to sustain our movement.
